应该是现有书籍中比较全面的介绍quanlitative evidence synthesis的了，例子作者有JBI和EPPI的人，但campbell的没有，缺meta study。最近好像又出了新书，journal of clinical epidemiolgy上有个special issue，这些方法再加上systematic mixed methods review被成为knowledge synthesis。是最近循证医学领域的一个比较新的方向，大部分研究者专注nursing, health service等非传统临床领域。加拿大、英国研究者较多，除了传统的定性杂志和research synthesis methods外，bmj open和bmc系列的杂志比较感兴趣。
