心理学领域比较权威的一本教科书。而且近年的新版本，比较紧跟科技的潮流。除了介绍传统的inferential statistics外，也会介绍一些non-parametric的alternatives. 很欣赏作者的这种态度。书讲得比较浅显，但是很清晰很适合用作教科书，但遇到一些比较复杂的case的时候，作者会推荐你咨询statistician,所以要想深入学习光看这本是不够的。

比一般心统教材的内容多，而且与每个课题相关的paper信息都有给出，方便对单一课题进行深入。而且更新了一些实用的技巧，例如在transformation前将数据的最小值化为1，可以使root-squares, log, inverse transformation更有效。
