很不錯的作品，比Stephen Baxter單獨寫的可讀性強很多。點子很簡單，但作者把一個簡單點子所帶來的各種影響都寫齣來瞭，還留瞭些給續集，充分說明簡單的規則是可以産生復雜的情節的。前半部的各章在不同主綫和時間之間跳躍有點頻繁，不過對於閱讀的樂趣影響不是很大。
