Malcom Bannister took an elegant detour to get to his destination. It takes a real good lawyer to scheme a real good racket.

没有异常华丽的语言，却紧扣人心弦，谁是受害者，谁又在操纵人生？

故事本身并不复杂，但作者采用一个无心理描述的第一视角。发展到中间时曾以为会多角度发展，但结果仍是一下到底。故事结束，皆大欢喜

跟the firm有点类似，不是很喜欢的风格。

今年读的第二本John Grisham. 这本涉及到witness protection的细节饶有趣味。整个故事前强后弱，到最后主角又成007般强大。
