身体可以缫丝的日本少女，变成马的卸任总统们。还有真实身份极为可疑的生物，比如偷偷改变人们生活轨迹的海鸥。异形元素，少年的成长，魔幻又细腻的梦境一般却讲述现实的短篇小说们，加之作者简直与生俱来的文笔天赋，读得心旷神怡。

文学意义大于社会意义的一本书，但也可能是我没读懂。Clyde violates the boundary of being a vampire as soon as he steps out under the sunshine and pursues love like mortals. The little girl oversteps the boundaries as well. The female vampire keeps her ordinary life, because she honors her true irreversible identity. All about boundary, reminding me of Parasite.
