已经把书还了，但是所有情节都在我脑海里恣意伸展。第一次发现，用心去读一本心理描写丰富的外国小说是如此惬意如此涤荡心灵的历程。亨利詹姆斯爱用大段的景物烘托，爱花大量笔墨去勾勒人物内心活动，爱置身事外评论他笔下的人物……这些都是从前见了外国作品就绕道而行...

唯一比维多利亚小说强的地方就是人物和关系更加subtle而不过于明晰 除此之外基本没有亮点 对Isabel不同阶段间的转变写的不太清楚 对几个男suitors的刻画也不太饱满 Madame Merle的戏完全可以更足。总之就是各方面都欠
