讀過Goodwin再看Isaacson覺得差好多啊，讀起來的勁頭就沒那麼足瞭。 Issac的寫作方法基本上很難讓人喜歡他傳記的主角，或者也可以反過來說，他喜歡寫這種優點和缺點同樣突齣的個性人物。用喜歡和不喜歡來描述BF也許太膚淺瞭，他是個相當復雜和多樣的人，就像他的涉獵一樣。不過他確實led such a nowadays typical American life。

I couldn't finish it. It is not a smooth read.. I don't know if it is because the author did not write well, or just because I cannot relate to this great American figure.

講瞭很多自傳中絕不會講的故事。包括瞭自傳中沒來得及寫的富蘭剋林晚年的工作和生活。買的audiobook，所以是聽完的，不是讀的。
