Sky-h
A departure from the conventional, that's what sky-h is all about and that is what inspired the title, a short form of sky-high. The book was born of the author's desire to travel and meet people, to make friends with people who could bring new inspiration and insight to his world-people he believed could widen his perspectives with creative wisdom. The artists interviewed and featured are all avant-garde in their own right and have relentlessly worked at developing new ideas and new ways of looking at the world. And although they might disagree they are traditional in one sense: they are totally devoted to their work. Kevin Hecox, Andy Jenkins, Groovisons, TGB Design, Giant Robot and Nigo create work that is full of passion and eagerness. All are prolific in their output which made selection of works for publication a difficult but highly rewarding experience.
