This book answered many doubts of me on the Unsolved Mysteries and changed me, in many aspects.

Full of great conversation starters. Reads like pulp fiction if you get past the first few pages, which is a bit of a set off. Diamond needs to work on hooking his readers from page one, not turning them off by throwing a bunch of jargon. Plenty of interesting theories in store

信息量大，语言幽默；对成书时未有定论的问题列出的competing hypotheses有些多，感觉略不痛快；极个别句子我这个非西方人读来感觉有些racist，也许是目标读者是西方人的关系吧。
