理查德·J.伯恩斯坦（1932— ） 1958年获得耶鲁大学博士学位，然后留校任教。现为美国纽约社会研究新学院哲学系讲座教授。伯恩斯坦主要研究实用主义、社会政治哲学、批判理论等。著有《实践与行动》（1971）、《超越客观主义和相对主义》（1983）、《汉娜·阿伦特与犹太问题》（1996）等等。伯恩斯坦是美国实用主义和哈贝马斯思想的重量级研究者和诠释者，后实证主义和后经验主义的主要旗手之一，也是批判理论的倡导者。
