Jean-François Lyotard (1924 – 1998) was a French philosopher, sociologist, and literary theorist. His interdisciplinary discourse spans such topics as knowledge and communication, the human body, modernist and postmodern art, literature and critical theory, music, film, time and memory, space, the city and landscape, the sublime, and the relation between aesthetics and politics. He is best known for his articulation of postmodernism after the late 1970s and the analysis of the impact of postmodernity on the human condition. He was co-founder of the International College of Philosophy with Jacques Derrida, François Châtelet, and Gilles Deleuze.

评分要是有人跟我喝酒聊天聊成這樣還行，但是哥，咱又不是即興演講不能打個草稿再寫嗎？全是拼貼畫式論證，感覺就是仗著自己的資曆，隨便寫寫也能齣書。
评分主要過瞭一遍關於sublime的部分。Lyotard分析瞭Burke和康德的兩種崇高概念。康德的崇高是概念和想象（錶現）的落差造成的緊張感，繼而引齣用負錶現（抽象）去指涉崇高。Burke的崇高是“什麼都不會發生瞭”中的“它發生瞭嗎？”是對威脅的挪除。
