Not knowing much about his films per se won't hold you from getting to know this philosophical virtuoso of life experience. Werner is indeed a good writer (apart from some too much calculated wording he uses, just like what I'm trying to write;) For his maxim of walking, and for his trying on those ranges, I hereby give my veneration.

One of most impressive opinnion about Herzog: he take the ski-jump champion as a most salient hero of the generation. An extremely radical but persuasive way to put athlete forward aesthetic, which accomplished a state of presentation into a pure condition of calm, strong, free expression of astonishment.
