Ian McEwan最好的小說。 McEwan 的文筆優美自然不用說瞭。但他小說唯一也是常見的毛病是情結總是過於contrived。atonement說穿瞭也有點太依賴巧閤。但是，但是！此書最後的結局實在是我見過最original也最powerful的寫作。所以是我個人最愛之一。

It's hard to say what my feelings are exactly. I liked the different parts of the novel, not sure about how they came together - though they must come together. Also, I'm a little tired of writing about writing, but that's just me.
