他1963年离开人世之前，就为十年后才去世的挚友托尔金写好了讣文。因为只有写出了《纳尼亚传奇》的人，才有资格说他真正了解《魔戒》的作者。

刘易斯一生著述甚丰，出版过若干关于英国中世纪及文艺复兴时期文学的评论作品。

在学术研究方面最重要的著作有《爱的寓言：中世纪传统研究》《十六世纪英语文学》《个人的异端》等。

在宗教方面有《痛苦问题》《纯粹基督教信仰》等。

在文学创作上则有科幻小说“空间三部曲”（《沉寂的行星之外》《皮尔兰德拉》和《骇人的力量》）与《纳尼亚王国传奇》。

有声书，叫是我看过电影了，否则真听不懂了要，不过故事真的很吸引人，虽然我在车上睡觉被吓醒了几次，个朗诵的人声音太响了。。。

绝对的经典。虽然看过了电影，三部曲，但是最近工作不太忙，空闲里把narnia七部曲找出来看看，一两天就把第一部看完了，一来语言简单，行文幽默，二来故事紧凑，有画面感，让你不忍释手。觉得原著比电影要来得更加有血有肉惊心动魄。
