書寫得挺好，全麵介紹瞭Lucene這個非常流行的java全文搜索引擎的框架。英文不難，條理清晰，讀起來挺有味道。遺憾的是示例的API過時瞭。例如現在Lucene3.0 中的 Field的創建方式與本書中所說的相差很大；IndexWriter的構造函數也有變化。相信還有其他deprecated 的地方...

開源的IR係統中lucene是做得最好最有名，本書詳細介紹瞭重要的模塊。但是我最喜歡的是最後的例子：LinkedIn，SIREn他們所使用的技術和實現方法。在一個更高層次的觀欖全局，真的讓我學到瞭很多東西。
