“Go to the next screen”，绝望，浪漫，令人向往。贯穿始终的疏离和迷幻感、意识的留存与下载、Meth与赤贫、精英和黑帮、闪回Harlan world的记忆无一不透露出令人悲观的未来色彩。关于意识和社会结构的新奇点子很多，由此产生了大量分支情节，并以很快的节奏展开和转折，以至Bancroft的主线到最后都显得失去了应有分量。无论怎样，“high tech，low life”的风味足够满分。
