若當作科幻或恐怖小說來讀，這部十年前的小說無論是設定還是情節都顯得太過時瞭，當哈佛帽衫男齣現時我幾乎就要棄瞭。但隱約間這似乎又不僅於此，因為SK不厭其煩的細節描寫與反英雄推理，都讓我想到一百年前Wells的The War of Wars，甚至連病素變異的情節都很像。所以說這部小說可以在不同的層麵上解讀。作為科幻小說真的很平庸，作為警世格言卻又很雋永。
