比起盲視、龍蛋、宇宙過河卒等夠硬的科幻、比起菲利普迪剋的燒腦科幻，本書雷托說的話更加晦澀難懂。感覺他的對話經常是答非所問，飄忽不定，自以為是。本書的人物對話很多，大多都是答非所謂自以為是，多次齣現的省略號也不知道對答雙方要錶達什麼。就不能說的簡單直白點嗎？...

God Emperor of Dune是沙丘係列中最不受讀者喜歡的一本。實在是艱澀難懂。第一次看的時候還是高中，根本無法理解為什麼Frank Herbert會浪費一整本書去寫Leto II。就算我跳過這本，Heretics of Dune和Chapterhouse Dune還是連貫清晰。而且Leo II在God Emperor of Dune裏絕對不是...
