这部比《安德的游戏》和《死者代言人》逊色不少，翻译是一部分原因，但主题思想不明确很要命。有几个不错的点子本来都可以发挥的，例如简和安德的关系，清照和王母的冲突，还有卢星生态系统和智慧病毒本来都可以大做文章甚至单独成篇的，结果作者一哆嗦，都给写到死胡同里去了...

韩非子、李清照，一堆词都可以接受，看到Jiang Qing 和4Gang就给跪了，最奇葩的事好奇翻了下中文版，这些变成了武瞾和无字碑……

高中毕业时草草读完Xenocide的中译本，便对安德系列失去兴趣。后来因为《安德的流亡》，又想重新认识安德世界——没有中译本的就读英文原版吧。参照中译本读Xenocide的过程比预想的要漫长，又比预想的要顺利。通过死扣字眼深入到大段大段的人物对话中，没觉得枯燥，但也不精彩。创意太多，思考太玄，步子太大，把节奏毁了，把情节也搞砸了。但放下书的那一刻，又隐约萌生出一种与书中人物共度了一段纠结时光的满足感。大概自己想重新认识安德世界的原因，也无非如此吧。
