This work is based on interviews with 11 distinguished, but quite different, architects. The resulting case studies illustrate their works and their design processes, which are interpreted, compared and commented on by Bryan Lawson using the models in "How Designers Think", his earlier text. It amplifies the ideas in "How Designers Think" in which the author applied his professional knowledge of process design.
