評分對比劍橋插圖古希臘史，這本書似乎腥風血雨多瞭太多，而對於德國的文化曆史成就介紹非常非常有限。 內容很全麵，介紹不夠詳細，所以要邊讀邊藉助WIKI纔能明白。 評論很多，看得齣作者對於德意誌民族的“愛恨交加”； 優點是譯者沒有被河蟹，尤其是對於東德的介紹，很令人反思
