作者简介

赫尔曼·黑塞（Hermann Hesse, 1877-1962），德国作家，20世纪最伟大的文学家之一。以《德米安：埃米尔·辛克莱的彷徨少年时》、《荒原狼》、《悉达多》、《玻璃球游戏》等作品享誉世界文坛。1923年46岁入瑞士籍。1946年获诺贝尔文学奖。

久闻黑塞，却是第一次读他的书。《德米安》，不太能适应其中详尽的关于神秘主义和心灵感受的描述，但这本书能给予的启发和观念却是难得、而又能引起共鸣的。 渴望去思考世界与洞察真相的人，他们身上有该隐之印。这些少数人，他们生命的追求是更加清醒与客观，而其他人则追求...  

从童年开始，我把书看得至高无上。对每一本传世经典著作，我总是诚惶诚恐地拜倒在它脚下，像依附父母一样依附它们。当年岁渐长，我有了一些自己的观点，一些在许多心理书的提携和各种相互纠缠的现实振动之下逐渐浮现的零碎世界观，其后我每在一本书中看到和我所思所想相似的句...
