評分Kellner的media spectacle概念基於Datz的media events和Guy Debord的spectacle概念發展而來,但是相比於後者更專注於傳播學奇觀,相比於前者則有著更加靈活的應用範圍,可以藉以描述某一小圈層或者imagined community中的傳播學現象。相比之下media events的定義要精確和局限得多。
評分#通俗易懂,討論瞭現代和後現代社會中很多的媒介景觀,其實說是媒介景觀,書中也深入探討瞭許多社會現狀和發展問題,讀起來很明朗。
