德隆瓦洛畢業於加州大學柏克萊分校，主修藝術、副修物理與數學。畢業後追求靈性課程，先後師承七十多位各宗教及信仰體系的靈性導師，足跡遍布世界各地，向全球原住民宣導靈性訊息，同時也散播各地原住民願意對外分享的資訊；曾於世界各地開設工作坊、研討會，演講神聖幾何、人類能量場、靈性、冥思及在心中生活等資訊。

三十多年來，透過生命之花課程及梅爾卡巴靜心，德隆瓦洛帶給全世界廣闊視野，他在生命力及能量的治療工作已幫助了成千上萬的人。二○一一年，榮獲《沃金斯評論》（Watkins Review）評選為百大精神人物，排名第三十六名。

除本書外，德隆瓦洛先前曾出版過三本書，分別是《生命之花的靈性法則：第二部》（The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, Volume II）、《在心中生活》（Living in the Heart）及《地球大拙火》（Serpent of Light），分別以二十九種語言出版，在全世界一百多個國家發行。現為國際網路雜誌《瑪特靈魂》（Spirit of Ma’at, www.spiritofmaat.com）的總編輯，每年點閱人數超過一百萬人次。

虽然作者明显四海拾贝，不过对于我们无法接触或者阅读大量其他读物的情况下，这本书还是令人大开眼界，喜欢神秘学的人可以看看，也涉及神圣几何

典型的3、9宫轴线，认为世界所有的信息都是对的；作者在做的，不过是将他所接触到的古往今来能够符合他信仰系统的知识串联起来，以达到“证明”结论的目的。典型的美国畅销书模式，丰富多彩，却流于表面；如果你想寻找真理，这不是本合适的书；如果你想寻找一个心灵导师（Guru），那还倒不如亲自去参加作者的冥想课程。他所列举的，不过是拾人牙慧，将大量历史、符号、神圣几何学的内容嵌进自己的体系当中；归根结底，不过是一次舞台表演而已。宇宙怎样演化的并不重要，重要的是得有掌声。
