后记其实很有意思，可以看到剧作家的自我坚持：事件的发生只不过反映了人物的本质。与之相比导演追求的事件改变人物是多么俗套。（不过第三幕里大老爹完全没出场我也是没想到的。）

这一版有第三幕的前后改动，剧作家说是从了导演，让maggie更明显地惹人怜，让父亲回来，让brick的转变更可信。比起电影，大爸更贪心自私（lesshearty），brick更aloof和无药可救——电影最后光明了。
