这一版有第三幕的前后改动，剧作家说是从了导演，让maggie更明显地惹人怜，让父亲回来，让brick的转变更可信。比起电影，大爸更贪心自私（lesshearty），brick更aloof和无药可救——电影最后光明了。

复杂的感情和激烈的情绪起伏 连布景都旨在烘托气氛 谎言和欺骗令人惊心 同TW一样我也对Maggie有亲近感 置身事外的Brick身上却有着最强烈的戏剧张力 这个角色塑造得太出色了 而更加动人让我决定打五星的是前言 为了打破孤独这座牢笼 为了感受到不易坦承的思绪 让我们交谈 握手 争斗 毁灭 让我们不要温和地走进那个良夜

后记其实很有意思，可以看到剧作家的自我坚持：事件的发生只不过反映了人物的本质。与之相比导演追求的事件改变人物是多么俗套。（不过第三幕里大老爹完全没出场我也是没想到的。）

updated Act 3的Brick都不像Brick了
