莫名其妙跨院係多個英美新批評的presentation…跑過來啃這本書…隻是因為實在無法忍受把ambiguity翻成“朦朧”…

給批評傢打上標簽，往往不能讓我們加深理解。恰恰相反，當彆人告訴你某某人是“新批評”時，你可能連他講瞭什麼都不知道，就以為自己“懂”瞭。名字隻是一個符號，沒有解碼的符號就沒有任何意義。所以應該重點讀批評傢的原著，二手資料隻是通往原著的小徑，之後即可拋棄。我聽說過很多同學“怕”詩歌，其實是被語文老師的“正確解讀”搞怕瞭。讀讀Empson的這本書，你會明白詩歌的魅力之一就在於意義的含混或歧義。解讀詩歌是一件很有趣的事，不是嘛？
