这本书的精华就在于厚重的数学推导啊！第八章到十四章是别的GR书很少提的东西,对四种horizon的精准定义,5个版本的singularity定理,面积不减定理的证明,黑洞热力学,宇宙监督原理三种表述,Hawking温度的非trivial推导,数学上此书真的无敌！

是比較後悔沒直接拿這本學微分幾何，網上一些言論真是言過其實了，跟Landau力學被吹的很難一樣無法理解。Wald有一種把事用一兩句話就解釋清楚的能力。據説是這本的“注釋”的梁書讀的很痛苦，這本倒是非常順暢，當然也可能是學過一點微分幾何再看與裏面涉及的數學沒太大隔閡了，梁書糟糕的排版也“助了一臂之力”。。

微分几何章节概念讲得比较清晰，但是图太少字太多，很多概念不明白具体的几何意义显得很抽象。还有就是很多证明过程要参考梁微广才知道。。。物理方面，读者需要有狭义相对论基础，这本书是不会给你复习的。总的来说并不是一本好的入门书。。。
