书里介绍了很多器物的佛教来源。但从目录开始就有纰漏，可见书的校对工作不咋地。。。不过内容还是很值得看得，不懂佛教的（例如偶= =）看看，也觉得很有趣味，后面还附有佛教的名词解释。

如果对佛教完全不懂的话其实看看里面作者一点点画出来的线条简单明快的素描也真的很不错.看这本书比空空地去读一些单纯的文字介绍类的书籍要来得有趣的多,另外去博物馆看看一些文物的实际样子也会很有帮助的.
