从学校图书馆借来扫了一下。因为没有时间，所以只是看了前言和简介。 先说目录吧，这书把沃特豪斯的一生分成了5个阶段：1 the early years 2 Primrose Hill 3 Return to the Legends 4 A Royal Academician 5 St John’s Wood 然后是最后一部分6 retrospect and conclusion 作者说他博士论文写的就是关于沃特豪斯的，叫the art and life of J. W. Waterhouse. 然后介绍部分我觉得有一个有趣的点是，作者说沃特豪斯不应该被归于拉斐尔前派，说是他是一个Romantic Classicist（不知道这个是不是有什么专属译名就不乱翻译这个了）。哈哈，还挺有趣的。
