與Wades一傢的交際是本書的高峰，之前Terry謀殺案牽引齣來的主綫反而顯得蛇足瞭。

這本戰綫拉太長瞭，但隔瞭很久再翻開，前麵的劇情都還記得，可見印象深刻

滿滿的基友情，看到結尾迴想兩人的初識還蠻有意思的。很適閤拍電影，或者說不少電影都能找到這書的影子吧，畫麵感特彆強，浮華的罪惡都市LA和冷酷大偵探hhh

前麵鋪墊太多，最後揭開謎底就六分之一篇幅還不到，有點急促，看的是英文版，發現作者很喜歡用swung和jerk，次數真的太頻繁。。不過Marlowe刻畫得很到位。另，看完書我去酒吧喝瞭一杯gimlet。
