UNP的確必不可少，但是UNP全是細節，這本書更注意整體圖景。雖然不是socket的教材，但是可以說把tcp/ip illustrated vol1和UNP串起來瞭。如果直接看UNP的話會覺得有點受不瞭--不知道哪些是模型，應該爛熟於心；哪些是細節，可以查手冊。其實最好的閱讀順序應該是這樣的： tcp...

看瞭一些評論，有這麼一種觀點，看完瞭tcp/ip和unp就沒看這本書的意義瞭。我覺得不然，不論是tcp/ip還是unp都是太大塊頭瞭，讀當然要讀，但是要吃透是需要大量的時間和經驗的。那麼這本書提供給瞭在網絡編程中你需要關注的側重點，更夠迅速的的讓你關注到你應該關注的地方，並...

看很多網絡編程的帖子推薦瞭這本書，本得隻讀好書的願景買瞭這本書。讀瞭一遍，總的來說是收獲不大。如果你看過〈TCP/IP詳解〉〈Unix網絡編程〉，這本書就沒什麼用瞭，不用把時間花在其它更需要學習的方麵而沒有上麵兩本書背景的新手又看不懂，比較尷尬。

大概匆匆瀏覽瞭一遍，第四部分的工具介紹還可以，其他部分都很普通。說的很多，實用的很少，收獲不大，代碼還挺多，感覺是為瞭湊數。44個技巧，對自己有用的就4,5條，想著有什麼好的技巧，有點失望。等以後用到相關部分再看吧。
