想了解美国历史在Taylor County 图书馆找到这本，看完后发现作者只重点讲了他认为重要的事件，并非传统的按时间顺序介绍历史事件的书，所以看完后没什么太深的印象。豆瓣上看了些读者的评论，意识到要再看本历史书，对美国历史有个完整的认识后再来看这本可能才会对作者的观点做出评价。
