太好看了。艾略特的气魄在Maggie父亲要Tom复仇以及最后兄妹在大水中团聚两个场景里发挥得淋漓尽致，不愧是最后写出Middlemarch的女人！后半段心理活动实在太长了（连我这种18、19世纪小说死忠都遭不住），一页过去都没什么情节进展，这一缺点在Middlemarch里完全消失，也是让人服气的。

又要开始写狱中书简第二章了。。哎。。结局还真是，振聋发聩。。。
