好书，因为自己对（除了电影以外的）现代艺术不了解（尤其是对Broodthasers一无所知），读来还是多少有点蒙，不过反拨本质主义、强调媒介自身的歧化和不完整性确实很有价值（尤其是在电影媒介急速转型的当下）。另外克劳斯也指出清空媒介特异性与艺术自治权后被文化工业挟持的危险。

任何关于techonological obsolescence的文章总是那么悲伤。Krauss明显有模仿本雅明文章结构的嫌疑，其实她主要是想在所谓媒介混杂的年代为medium specificity正名，让它脱离physical support的限制。书名是个影像作品，推荐搜索。
