从全文的注释中可以看出作者思想史文献把握能力的强悍，但是似乎全文对托克维尔政治思想的理解稍显不足，更多侧重于美国政治思想的分析。特别需要提及的是作者在论事基督教精神和美国政治之间的关系。然而，过于零散的语法风格导致在阅读过程中经常跳戏，我也是头疼。三颗星吧，但是为了那些注释，加一颗星。说真的，没有特别的读懂作者试图表达的含义，有机会再读吧……
