The Authors

Gu Zheng (顾铮) is professor of photography at Fudan University in Shanghai and one of China's leading scholars of contemporary photography. He has written articles for numerous journals and exhibition catalogues in China and was a chief curator of the 2005 Guangzhou Photography Biennial.

Ou Ning (欧宁) is an artist, author and champion of contemporary art in China. He was curator of the exhibition Get It Louder, in 2005 – an important showcase of contemporary art and design in China – and has written extensively in both Chinese and English on China's evolving art scene.

The Editor

John Millichap has lived in China for more than 10 years and has written for various publications about contemporary art in China. He founded 3030 Press in 2006

对于摄影这种表达媒介的探索很有趣，但为什么我有种感觉，就是作为一个整体（书里这些70、80年代的摄影师），太过于沉浸于自己的世界？大部分都是非常孤立于外界的单向探索。毕竟只有三十个摄影师，是筛选的，不能完全作为一个现象谈论。或许再混个几年，我会更深入的看法。

我在导师的手里看到这本了..书中作者有一位还是学姐不过这本书真正新锐的作品不算多看看就罢 ..两年前在上海见了顾铮,可是那时不是很认识他,只知道很有名..现在能淘到的好一点的摄影书基本都有他编译
