因為在追光麵試的時候被推薦瞭這本書，馬上買瞭兩天看晚瞭。得到的結論就是：『這個産業基本就是抽彩票，和街上賣大麻的差不多。如果是毒品之王可以賺巨款，但是如果是小嘍囉，那就極容易死，又不賺錢，但是每一個小嘍囉都想要成為大boss。』就這本書來說，其實看瞭前20%基本就知道大概後80%什麼樣瞭。寫作有點奇怪，基本都在寫各個時代的人口述個人曆史，如何從公司底層變成瞭好萊塢之王。可見美國製片人的行業非常穩定，因為過去八十年，每個人的故事都差不多。
