Agatha Christie is known throughout the world as the Queen of Crime. Her books have sold over a billion copies in English with another billion in 100 foreign languages. 我曾经一直认为这是一个令人发指的故事，无论是表面上的真相，还是被波洛先生最终揭示出来的真相，都是令人难以接受的。爱人相残，最悲惨的还不完全是生命的消逝，而是我们原本就已经感觉飘忽的爱情，在动荡的世界里，不但不能成为我们心灵的归宿，反而成为了我们生命的终结者...  

个人不太偏向欧美，原因人名多而难记，以奎因作品最突出，但阿婆的作品一直很喜欢，毕竟通俗一点而且对话比较接近生活，而且波洛本人的气质颇为吸引。次作品结构很清晰，先是一段委托前因后果开篇，然后对尘封16年的案件的涉案人一一拜访询问，然后再针对每个人的供词再提供一...  

阿婆的小说，很多都是从作案动机入手的，纵观这五只小猪，有动机的似乎有三个，但这里面主观上有意愿嫁祸给卡罗琳的却只有一人，于是答案就很明了了。但猜中了又何妨？五只小猪加上死者六个人之间错综复杂的感情关系实在是戳中泪点，六个活生生的形象，不得不叹服阿婆功力实在...  

个人觉得这本书要比其他几部经典都好，阿加莎注重心理和人性挖掘，无疑这本书的人性挖掘深度要超过其他几部，因为这部书里的一切动机都不是为了遗产和钱财，而是爱与恨的胶着。

阿加莎是多么喜欢凑民谣，从九个印第安小男孩儿到五只小猪。在海外长大的小女儿回来讨母亲的清白，母亲以为是妹妹杀的所以可以包庇而其实是情妇杀的因为发现丈夫并没有真的想离婚只是想把画画完而已。有一点无聊的设定。只不过隔壁庄园长大的默默喜欢妻子的兄弟二人，大家从小在一起玩后来Carolien嫁给了画家，颇有琼瑶剧的设定呢。每个人不厌其烦地叙述故事最后还写一遍让人不胜其烦。

五名当事人的口述加手写记录…有点点啰嗦，但是通过不同人的视角塑造出一位非常完美的女性形象，虽然很多人说朱丽叶形容当年那个年轻的女孩，我认为她不配，Caroline才是永恒的女主角。

放不下的一本书。作者很喜欢写出轨的艺术家吧
