As Arthur soon discovers, the dark shadow of the prison stretches far beyond its walls to affect the lives of many, from the kindly Mr. Pancks, the reluctant rent-collector of Bleeding Heart Yard, and the tipsily garrulous Flora Finching, to Merdle, an unscrupulous financier, and the bureaucratic Barnacles in the Circumlocution Office. A masterly evocation of the state and psychology of imprisonment, Little Dorrit is one of the supreme works of Dickenss maturity.

一个很私人的书评，说一下狄更斯。对别人来说估计没什么帮助。 小时候（应该是初中？）接触过双城记的简易版本，忘了是书虫中英对照版本的还是小人书版本的了，觉得故事内容与大革命的背景，尤其是个人与时代的矛盾，无私大爱的精神内核特别狂拽炫酷，也挺喜欢男二的（偶像剧的...

这样的主角让人怎么也喜欢不起来。竟然是个大团圆还。
