这本给我的感觉就比较一般了，也许是从一开始就太拖沓（宝石走私），也许是人物们让人提不起兴趣（四角关系），也许是逻辑上太为松散（没有清晰的脉络），总之，评价一般吧，甚至读完以后还是有一种陌生感。

Although the book is kind of mediocre among other Christie's works, I strongly recommend every Christie fans read it, because it has such a special meaning to Christie. The book was written in her toughest times. The dedication says:" To the two distinguished members of the O.F.D.". O.F.D., Order of faithful dogs.

这本我觉得一般，过于拗口的名字就有点影响阅读，而且整篇有点拖沓冗长，导致最后没什么反转的惊喜感。

永远猜不到结局系列。开头宝石交易节奏紧凑带感，人物性格鲜明。虽然我还是不知道女主情人是怎么弄到假宝石的，最终又成一对，恭喜！
