戴维•麦卡洛（1933- ），美国作家、历史学家。自1968年出版处女作《约翰斯敦大洪水》后，即以运用史料的翔实严谨与叙事手法的生动独特蜚声美国文坛，成为当代美国极具影响力的通俗历史与传记作家。曾以《杜鲁门传》与《约翰•亚当斯传》两度获得普利策奖，并于2006年12月被授予美国总统自由勋章。
