波頓的電影大概是4年前看的，整個過程昏昏欲睡，直到最後父親的葬禮上看到那些故事裏的“巨人”、“巫婆”、“連體姐妹”，像兒子一樣突然理解瞭父親和他的故事。周末花5個小時兩口氣讀完瞭英文版，沒想到竟會被這麼簡單的文字拽著一直讀下去。書裏沒有波頓的夢幻，在平實中有種樸實而浪漫的憂傷：一個愛講故事而且隻講故事的男人一生的故事。"Remembering a man's stories makes him immortal. "與父親一直有隔閡的兒子最終領悟瞭父親用一生的故事想要教給他的事，送走瞭變成大魚的父親。小說是關於父親的故事，而電影改編的巧妙在於把書裏隱含的不可靠敘述者“我”拉進瞭現實的可靠敘述層麵，實的更實，虛的更虛，成為一個關於故事的故事。（影視短評的限定字數為什麼少那麼多……）
