原版文字其实清晰易懂，由于译本正文或注释的错误、莫名其妙、文笔不佳等缘故中文版反而容易妨碍理解。对于有意从事英美哲学研究的同好而言，在资金允许或网络上能够获取到资源（例如本书最新第4版已有PDF电子版）的情况下，应当直接阅读外文原版较好。毕竟如模态形而上学问...

导论写的挺有趣的。简直引人入胜，声情并茂。说一个明显的翻译上的小bug。译文第39页，引用奥义书，上来就“你是艺术！”根据前后文莫名其妙。关艺术个啥呢？一看原文：That art Thou! “这就是你！”

豆瓣上面显示的作者是“因瓦根”，这是不对的；作者的名字是彼得，姓是“van Inwagen”。而因瓦根不能单独作为名字来用。这样作者会很生气哦：）
