Joseph J. Tobin is on the faculties of the College of Education and the Center for Youth Research of the University of Hawaii. David Y.H. Wu is a research associate at the East-West Center in Honolulu. Dana H. Davidson is an associate professor of Family Resources at the University of Hawaii.
With growing numbers of mothers in the work force, industrialized societies are turning increasingly to preschools to educate, nurture, and socialize young children. 評分看的是颱灣中譯本,比較欣賞研究方法,但這裏用的是多層的研究方法,結閤局內局外的意見評價,文化的比較研究確實不好做。因為每一章是不同的人執筆,感覺風格略有差異,分析的點有些散,但中國那一章寫得還是不錯的,把中國人對集體性和秩序控製的special attention點齣來瞭。
