若不是为了写论文，我是不会读这篇小说的。

很难想象这是45年前的作品，在晦涩的语言风格和凌乱的意识流写作手法之下的情节实际并不复杂，从政府的精英学校逃出的天才少年，在逃亡途中发现乌托邦和智囊团，最终得以成功对抗技术寡头和专制政府。很多想法有意思（例如政府利用赌博机制操控民众、利用极端情境的教育模式），情节并不是特别有趣，有些地方有点自说自话的嫌疑。
