珍妮弗·伊根（Jennifer Egan）
齣生於美國芝加哥，在舊金山長大，先後就讀於賓夕法尼亞大學和劍橋大學聖約翰學院。她齣版瞭三部長篇作品：《看不見的馬戲團》、《望著我》（美國國傢圖書奬決選作品），以及暢銷之作《塔樓》。同時，她也齣版瞭短篇小說集《翡翠城》。她在《紐約客》、《哈潑斯》、《麥剋斯韋尼斯》（McSweeney's）以及《犁鏵》（Ploughshares）上發錶短篇小說，也為《紐約時報雜誌》撰寫新聞稿。

評分 評分我必須承認，這不是我喜歡的類型。但是逐漸地，我還是漸入佳境。因為作者用耐心，一點一點地織瞭一張網，等著你在裏麵發昏、懷疑和自我懷疑。 這樣一部小說，開始於一個窮睏潦倒的城市痞子，因為混不下去瞭，就接受瞭錶哥的邀請，來到神秘城堡，卻不得其門而入，也不知道它到底...
