作者简介

Henry Scott Stokes is a noted journalist who has worked for both the New York Times and the London Times. He was educated at Winchester College and New College, Oxford. After graduating, he moved to Japan, where he became a journalist of the Tokyo bureau of The Times. Also around this time, he became close friends with famous Japanese author Yukio Mishima. Most recently, he has edited an anthology entitled The Kwangju Uprising: Eyewitness Press Accounts of Korea's Tiananmen. He lives in Tokyo.

书极有诚意。但后半部比前半部好。因为作者60年代才第一次见到三岛本人，其后有了个人交往，写出的东西也有了实在感：三岛是可见的。而对于这位作家的前半生，作者多由作品及文献推测，但这样其实是非常不靠谱的。文字仿佛是表达意念与精神的最佳方式，却也由此可称之为最佳伪...
