It's a new school year, and Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. 让我一口气读完的书。很搞笑，里面是书写体和画画结合的。根据第一篇写的说“this is a jornal,it's not dairy.." 引发我也想写了.

很生动有趣的一本书，以日记的形式写了Greg的初中生活，也看到了美国教育与生活很有趣的一面，画风很独到，不过Greg那个弟弟Manny被作者画成那个样子真是太绝了，我从来没有看过长得这么丑的小朋友，而且很贱，特别贱，好想抽他几个嘴巴。这个系列还有剩下的几本，找个时间把它们也看了。

这是我唯一从头到尾读完的英文原版书，即使在词汇量巅峰的时候，也不能这么随意，可以称为阅读英文书，而都是在学习。乐趣锐减。手写体的文字，可爱的漫画，简单的词汇，如果早先读这样的英文书，也许不会有那么多畏难情绪。真心推荐。
