作者有劇場的背景，亦有臨床心理的豐富經驗。二十年來，從未間斷以富創意的活動形式帶領不同需要的團體。過去十四年，她主要在精神醫院為成人及青少年患者提供戲劇治療，近年來亦為兒童提供戲劇治療服務。曾獲頒美國戲劇治療協會傑出貢獻獎(Drama Therapy Gertrud Schattner Award for Outstanding Contribution to Field of Drama Therapy)。
