At local bookshop, the first sight was "The High widow". Who could guess this is my first Raymond Chandler.

钱德勒的书写得真好，文笔精致、俏皮。对人物的刻画很细腻。情节倒不是那么重要。马洛探案的过程写得象探险一样跌宕起伏，这是作家的着力之处。第一次看到有人这样写侦探小说。
